Beyond the Studio

I have a particular interest in film photography and vintage cameras. I enjoy exploring older cameras and photographic processes, experimenting with different film formats, and finding ways to keep older equipment useful today.

I also enjoy designing and building things when I encounter a problem I can’t solve with existing tools. This has led me to experiment with 3D modeling and printing, create accessories for my film cameras, and develop my own solutions for working with older photographic equipment.

Much of my creative development has come from simply experimenting. Whether I’m trying an unfamiliar camera, learning new software, creating a stop motion project, or finding a different way to photograph something, I enjoy exploring an idea simply to see where it can lead.

Outside of my professional and academic work, I enjoy exploring new ideas, experimenting with different creative processes, and finding projects that give me an opportunity to learn something new.
